Rihanna Breaks Silence on Chris Brown Abuse
Rihanna is ready to talk about the violent night with Chris Brown that left her bloodied and bruised -- and left him in an orange jumpsuit.
"This happened to me... It can happen to anyone," Rihanna, 21, tells Diane Sawyer in an interview to air on "Good Morning America" and "20/20." Chris apologized after details of the attack surfaced -- and said he "couldn't believe" he'd abused his girlfriend.
In an excerpt from the sit-down, Rihanna reveals that the situation with Chris, 20, was difficult because the R&B star "was definitely my first big love."
Rihanna recently dropped her first single "Russian Roulette" from her album, Rated R, out November 23.
Rihanna's full interview with Sawyer airs Thursday on "Good Morning America" and Friday on "20/20."
