Carey Mulligan: Star on the Rise

You may not yet recognize Carey Mulligan, but memorize this face -- this up-and-coming actress is the next big thing!

Mulligan, 24, hails from Britain and got her first big break in "Pride & Prejudice" alongside Keira Knightley and Dame Judy Dench. Carey is currently filming "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" with beau Shia LaBeouf.

Carey also stars in the movie "An Education" as a bright-eyed schoolgirl whose Oxford ambition goes out the window when she meets a smooth older man, played by Peter Sarsgaard. Mulligan talked to "Extra" about the film in an exclusive interview.

"An Education" hits theatres October 9.
