Melanie Griffith is in rehab -- but her rep says it's all part of a plan. "She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy," her rep told People today. "This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago."

Griffith, 52, was treated in 2000 for an addiction to painkillers. In 1988, she battled alcoholism and cocaine addiction.

The "Working Girl," who is married to Antonio Banderas, once wrote on her website, "Overcoming addictions is tough but it can be made easier if you have someone that can offer support. My husband and family supported me so much through this journey and continue to do so."
