Kelly McGillis: Coming Out was a 'Relief'

"Top Gun" star Kelly McGillis confirmed last month that she was a lesbian -- and the actress admits to "Extra" that it's a relief to be out of the closet.

"It is a relief because I can finally be true to who I am today," McGilles tells "Extra," adding, "and I don't have to say I don't want to talk about that."

Kelly is currently starring in the Pasadena Playhouse production of "The Little Foxes."
