George Lopez and wife Ann are national spokespeople for The National Kidney Foundation -- and the couple wants to get the word out about World Kidney Day this Thursday! The pair will be joined by other celebs at the KEEP It Hollywood event.

In 2006, Ann gave her hubby the ultimate gift when she donated one of her kidneys to George.

The Pre-Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP) event includes a screenings to help fight kidney disease thru early detection. For additional information on World Kidney Day events and KEEP screenings visit www.kidney.org/news/wkd/localEvents.cfm!
