On the Mend
Patrick Swayze credits acting for helping with his recovery from cancer. Patrick, starring in A&E's "The Beast," tells the NY Times, "How do you nurture a positive attitude when all the statistics say you're a dead man? You go to work."
Swayze, 56, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year, but it hasn't slowed him down. The Times says he's only missed a day and a half of work since production on "The Beast" began this summer.
