Celebs Pick-Up Creative Arts Emmys
The Primetime Emmys will air September 21, but some celebs got their trophies early at the Creative Arts Emmys, which recognize technical and other achievements in the 2007-2008 season.
Silly Sarah Silverman celebrated her big win for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for her "I'm F'ing Matt Damon" spoof. She's usually spotted in pigtails, ratty jeans and a t-shirt, but Silverman kicked into glam high-gear with a '50s prom-inspired dress and heels.
Fellow funny winner Kathy Griffin let the press in on the craziest rumor she's heard about herself, saying, "Mario Lopez propositioned me for... how should I say... a night in heaven. And I said no, 'cause I never would."
Ashley Tisdale was among the red carpet starlets, sparkling in a sexy, sleeveless cream dress. But the Disney star wasn't sure who she was wearing, "Collette Dennigan ... I think that's how you say it."
Other big winners included "Sex and the City" star Cyntha Nixon for a guest spot on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," and AMC hit "Mad Men," Showtime's original series "Californication" and HBO's mini series, "John Adams."
The Creative Arts Emmys Air on E! this Saturday.
