Bass: Applegate is 'Totally, Fully Recovering'
N'Sync singer Lance Bass is opening up about Christina Applegate's recent double mastectomy -- and updating the world on the "Samantha Who?" star's recovery.
"I was at the hospital holding her hand and getting her through it," Lance tells People magazine of his friend. "She is a very, very loved person."
Applegate's decision to undergo the procedure after being diagnosed with breast cancer was tough -- but Bass says that sharing her story was an easy choice to make. "Now she has a voice and she can use it for something good... it is going to make thousands of women go get checked out. It will probably save many lives."
