Brit Back for Another 'Mother'
She's no longer flashing her lady parts, speaking in wacky accents or bringing home paparazzi -- but you haven't seen the last of Britney Spears. The formerly out-of-control pop mom, who has been mostly out of the public eye since being placed under conservatorship of her father, is gearing up for another stint on the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother," TV Guide reports.
According to an insider, Brit is in talks to reprise her role as the nerdy receptionist with a major crush on Ted, played by Josh Radnor, but "it all depends on her availability." CBS has no comment.
Britney's March 25 appearance was well received -- and it gave the sitcom its highest ratings ever. Even the cast loved having her around -- and big things could be in her future. Co-star Alyson Hannigan told "Extra," "She's great and she's funny and I think she's going to remind people how talented she is."
Her former manager, Larry Rudolph, also thinks Brit's TV adventure is the start of something huge. "She'll get it together. I think she's gonna make the biggest comeback in history," Rudolph told "Extra" yesterday.
