Tony Parker Sues for Millions Over Cheating Story
The basketball filed suit yesterday against X-17 for publishing the claims of model Alexandra Paressant, who said she had a two-month affair with Tony.
The San Antonio Spurs star is now seeking $40 million in damages for defamation and invasion of privacy, alleging the site posted a series of "false and defamatory" stories.
"This is false. It never happened," the lawsuit says. "And X17 had to know that the story was false, or, at the very least, it had to have entertained serious doubts about the credibility of its supposed source."
Last week, Tony and Eva both blasted the claims and defended their five-month marriage.
"I love my wife," Tony said.
Added Eva, "Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband."
Meanwhile, X17 is sticking to its reports, telling "Extra," "We felt the evidence was too strong to ignore, and we are continuing to uncover more details each day in our continued investigation."
