Demi on Daughters: 'I Wish I Would Have Allowed Them to See Me Weak'

May 10, 2007 Couples News

Demi Moore is opening up about her famous and painful family rift with her mother.

The beautiful 45-year-old superstar was estranged from her mother Virginia for years, but they reconciled just months before her death in 1998.

"When she was present, she was so beautifully present," Moore said. "I think the part of her that was so self-sabotaging is what really created the wedge."

Demi also confessed her own regrets about raising her three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah.

"I wish I would have allowed them to see me weak more often because I think that it limited their permission to be weak or vulnerable," Demi admitted.

Demi's emotional interview airs Friday on "Oprah."
