Melanie B's Shocking Interview with 'Extra': Her Direct Message to Eddie

May 02, 2007 Couples News

In an exclusive sit down with “Extra,” former Spice Girl Melanie Brown revealed explosive information about the battle between her and Eddie Murphy.

Brown is contending that her infant daughter Angel Iris is without a doubt Eddie’s baby – and she wants a paternity test to prove it!

In fact, in a very personal interview with “Extra’s” Terri Seymour, Brown said that not only does Eddie know the baby is his, but the pregnancy was planned!

“The crazy thing is, this baby was planned, and he knows it’s his,” Brown said. “This is what is mind-boggling.”

The baby was even born on Eddie Murphy’s birthday, and Brown joked, “I think my child has a cosmic sense of humor.”

The paternity battle is heating up because Murphy has publicly denied that the child is his, telling a Dutch television station, “We don’t know whose child it is until it comes out and has a blood test.”

Now, Brown is claiming that Murphy won’t take that test.

So she has a message for him: “Be responsible. It’s as simple as that.”

Still, Brown told us there are no hard feelings, even saying, “He’ll always be a part of my heart, Eddie.”

While Murphy’s reps had no comment for “Extra” today, Brown is getting support from family, friends and even fellow Spice Girls!

“Us girls are going to be sitting down and discussing things I can’t tell you yet,” Brown said.
